A little about me.
Work, coffee, collections, and a habit of learning by making things.

Most days, I work from home for a medical supply company. I handle revenue cycle work, mainly Medicare and Humana billing and collections, using FinThrive. There is a lot of detail to keep straight, but I enjoy taking a messy problem and finding a clear way through it.
One of my biggest goals is to become a better supervisor. I want to communicate clearly, help people do their best work, and stay organized enough that I am not adding chaos to anyone else's day. I am also trying to build better routines for my own time, because that is still a work in progress.
I have always been the person who wants to try the newest piece of technology and understand how it works. Lately that has meant spending a lot of time with LLMs, AI, automation, and small hands on projects. I am less interested in the hype than I am in finding out what these tools can actually make easier.
When I am not working or tinkering with something, I am usually taking care of Scout, my fourteen year old dog, and Theo, my new cat. I love making coffee and collecting Pokémon cards. I also love to bake, although I have not made enough time for it lately. I would like to get back to it.
This site is a place for all of it. The things I am learning, the things I collect, and the projects I keep convincing myself to start.
